Joshua is an experienced veteran and cybersecurity leader who excels at building and growing technology organizations in demanding, high-stress environments. He has a proven track record of developing resilient global teams that thrive even when change is the only constant. His professional history is marked by success in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and technological innovation, with deep technical expertise in software development and reverse engineering.

Dr. Paul Griffioen, Ph.D.
Paul Griffioen is an assistant professor of engineering at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a B.S. in electrical and computer engineering from Calvin University, and is currently pursuing an M.A. in theological studies at Westminster Theological Seminary. He has authored a number of journal articles and conference papers in the fields of machine learning, data-driven control, IoT security, and resilient cyber-physical systems. He is a member of the IEEE, IEEE Control Systems Society, Christian Engineering Society, Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences, Christian Scientific Society, and American Scientific Affiliation. He also serves as a board member of The Classical Academy. Paul’s research interests include developing a detailed Christian understanding of engineering, technology, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technologies. He is also very interested in the philosophy of Christian education, Christian scholarship, apologetics, and epistemology.

Mr. Lukas Hoyle, BS Cand., Cybersecurity
Lukas is a Cybersecurity student at Anderson University who brings a hands-on technical perspective to SermonPress AI. Having previously served as an intern on the project, he possesses a deep understanding of the platform’s core infrastructure. Lukas specializes in building complex automated ecosystems using n8n and Docker, integrating tools and services to significantly reduce manual labor for churches and mission-driven organizations. His work focuses on leveraging automation to streamline digital operations, ensuring that technological barriers do not hinder the mission of the Church, and that AI is used to the benefit not the detriment of the Kingdom.

Mr. Daniel Vos, BA
Daniel is a digital agency leader who helps churches and Christian groups grow online through his team, Five More Talents. Since 2009, he has led his team to help over 200 churches leverage online technology to invite more visitors, equip more members, and develop more leaders. His experience also includes serving high-profile institutions such as Reformed Theological Seminary and HeartCry Missionary Society.
